If you have gotten to this blog you probably reached it through my Facebook profile, if so, you already know who I am. If you reached here by some other means, let me quickly explain who I am. I’m a 15 year old living in Connecticut who loves music. I play piano, guitar, and dabble with bass. I’m currently in a band (or half a band, more on that later), and I’m also interested in perhaps starting a second one. My taste in music is pretty diverse. I’ll listen to anything from classical, to jazz, to extreme metal. My favorite genre of music, however, is progressive rock and progressive metal.
So as you can probably tell, this blog is mostly going to be about music. I plan to post about songs I’m writing, how I go about writing songs, recording songs, my band, etc. I’ll also occasionally post album reviews and reviews of whatever concerts I attend.
It’s 1:10 AM right now after my last day of freshman year. I had the idea to create this blog approximately 30 minutes ago. It’s quite possible that when I wake up tomorrow morning, I’ll realize this was a terrible idea. If not, however, you’ll hear again from me tomorrow. So with my mind in the half awake state it’s in, I’m off to sleep.
